Located under cockpit sole, Yanmar 2QM15 15HP inboard diesel engine. Seawater cooled. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to a 3 bladed folding prop. 68 litre stainless steel fuel tank. Stainless steel exhaust, Cruising speed of 5 knots and Max speed of 6 knots.
The 1982 Gib Sea 28 offers 6 berths in 2 cabins. The forward cabin has a good size V berth with storage underneath and an opening hatch to the foredeck. Saloon has a central table with a bench seat to starboard and L shaped seating to port. The Saloon table can seat six adults comfortably. The saloon table drops to form a double berth to port and a single berth is to starboard using the bench seat. Aft of the starboard bench seat is the chart table with all navigation equipment and storage for charts. To port is the Galley which has an Origo 6000 four hob spirit cooker and oven, 2 Galley sinks with manually pumped cold water and icebox. Opposite is the heads with good headroom, Marine head and single sink with manually pumped cold water. Aft of the galley to port is a good size single quarter berth. This Gib Sea 28 is carpeted throughout and has fitted curtains.
