Alfresco' has been my pride and joy for the last 2 years.

She is a 1980's solid, classic Seafarer Mark II (21ft) cabin cruiser fitted with a renowned, BMC 1.5 inboard diesel engine.

'Alfresco' features a well-known, seaworthy hull with a strong reputation as a stable and capable small leisure vessel for coastal day trips, overnight stays, fishing trips, or river cruising.

Cabin & Electronics:

Cabin: 2 sleeping bunks, camping stove, sink, chemical toilet, TV, and shore-power hookup for overnights when berthed.

Nav & Fishing Gear: Fully operational marine radio, depth plotter, and fish finder!

Mooring Access: Accessed easily by a wooden tender rowing boat.

Engine & Mechanicals:
The BMC 1.5 is a simple, proven, displacement-hull diesel—extremely economical to run and easy to maintain.

Low engine hours (~1,700 hours).

Starts reliably, runs smoothly, and is well-maintained.

Recent engine oil and filter change.

New heat exchanger rubber seals fitted.

Keel bolts all recently replaced (watertight hull).

Anti fowled in May this year

Construction

Solid GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic / Fibreglass) hull and deck. Features a heavy-duty blue canvas canopy over the cockpit, stainless steel grab rails, and a non-slip deck surface. Built with a sturdy, traditional displacement hull for excellent stability and seaworthiness.

Engine(s)

Reliable BMC 1.5 4-cylinder inboard diesel engine delivering approximately 35 HP. Fitted with a PRM shaft drive gearbox. Economical to run, starts easily, and runs smoothly.
