"Roninella" is an Allanson D25 and provides a rare opportunity to purchase a classic yacht which is stepped with history. Built in 1953 and hung on the port side of the Royal Yacht Britannia, she is half way through restoration and can be bought as such. She has all her original fittings and engine cover and original Perkins P4M with Centrifugal Gearbox and solid bronze Tiller arm. Alando CK 178, a Colchester registered ex working boat, an Essex sailing smack built by the renowned barge and smack builders of their day the Aldous Borthers of Brightlingsea. Initially she was one of six, half decked open oyster boats, commissioned by a local Oyster man in 1923. Converted into a yacht in 1938.

He drew her lines and built the vessel. He sourced local trades to supply the materials for her and her rig. Fitted her with a sensible sized reliable new Beta Marine engine.
