Built in 1953 and hung on the port side of the Royal Yacht Britannia, she is half way through restoration and can be bought as such. She has all her original fittings and engine cover and original Perkins P4M with Centrifugal Gearbox and solid bronze Tiller arm. Lucie B was built from scratch in just 4 months by Ashley Butler and his team in Faversham in 2005. Ashley, while working on another Smack made a half model of Lucie B. He drew her lines and built the vessel. He sourced local trades to supply the materials for her and her rig. Fitted her with a new Beta Marine engine.
Her build was well documented in the Classic Boat Magazine, she was used as their display vessel at the London Boat show.
She is presently owned and sailed in her home waters of the River Medway and Thames, she has competed in the OGA Rallies and races.
