Description
Robust 14ft Dinghy with road trailer and cover. Ready to sail. Steady in the water and sails well in light to moderate wind. Crew 2 to 4. Draught 9 in. min. / 4 ft 6 in. max.
Built Bossoms Boatyard 1976. Present owner since 2010.
Mast and spare mast. White mainsail and jib in very good condition. Spare mainsail (red, no. 1405), used but sails well.
Centreboard in good working order. Rudder and tiller in very good condition. Adjustable tiller extension.
All rigging present and all fittings stainless steel.
Paddles and boathook.
Hull generally in good condition. Transom will need maintenance.
Bilge keels in good condition. One recently replaced.
Thwarts in good condition.
Timber trim: gunwales generally good. Stern and transom will need maintenance.
Trailer: Snipe by Mersea Trailers. New in 2010. Suspension units condition uncertain.
